Since its inception in 2016, WeSchool has become a cornerstone in Italy’s EdTech landscape, building a community of over 1.7 million users. More than just a community, WeSchool has evolved into a next-gen learning platform that brings technology to the hands of educators, helping them create adaptable and more effective learning experiences, and redefining educational engagement. During the pandemic, it emerged as a key player, seamlessly facilitating online education for its extensive user base on a daily basis.
Marco De Rossi, the visionary founder of WeSchool, sought a brand image that broke free from typical EdTech norms, one that was not only functional but also vibrant and energetic. Embracing this vision, APART set out to transform WeSchool’s visual and digital identity, captivating individual learners and institutional partners alike.
This transformation journey reimagined educational norms with energy, interactivity, and creativity, aiming to position WeSchool as a symbol of educational excellence and a beacon of liveliness.
The new visual identity broke away from traditional design, drawing inspiration from classic educational tools and embodying the transformative essence of learning. A palette of vivid colors and dynamic shapes turned the educational experience into an exhilarating journey. WeSchool’s rallying cry, “Riscriviamo l’educazione” (“Rewriting Education”), became the cornerstone of its branding and marketing, ensuring a strong connection with all users.
The website, a seamless fusion of corporate and e-commerce features, showcases a tailor-made design from Information Architecture to UI, featuring unique elements like playful scribbles and sketches. These elements, including adaptive animated scribbles, are perfectly integrated with the content, the result of a close collaboration with the development team that ensured smooth SVG animations and a robust website structure.
Its strategic modular design serves dual purposes: corporate presentation and e-commerce functionality. This allows for custom pages and a scalable system, ensuring versatility for various courses and projects while maintaining a cohesive visual identity.
The collaboration between WeSchool and APART has repositioned WeSchool as a pioneer in the EdTech sector. It exemplifies the power of shared vision in creating a brand identity that goes beyond educational norms and sparks a movement in the education sector.
